I have been doing software development for a decade across a variety of industries and many different companies ranging in all sizes and cultures. I believe in "measure twice, cut once" and like to prototype even small features to ensure I've got the idea correct and that we're making what the company actually wants and not just what it thinks it wants.

In the era of distributed and cloud computing I have also become very interested in maintainable and scalable deployments. Erlang/Elixir is among my favorite languages, and it's built for distributed computing, so finding ways to quickly and easily maintain the distributed deployment and monitoring processes is very interesting to me.
